Job Summary: 
The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Benefits Administrator with the daily administration of medical, dental, vision, FSA, ancillary and COBRA benefits. 

  • Monitor and ensure completion of new hire benefits enrollment activity to include communicating with new hire via email with instructions and reminders
  • Monitor employee terminations and ensure delivery of compliance communication including but not limited to life insurance continuation and COBRA
  • Verify CBRA enrollments on a weekly basis
  • Process all incoming benefits related mail related to returned ID cards, incorrect addresses, and disability claims
  • Process proof of coverage letters at the request of employees
  • Provide a high level of customer service and support to all AllerVie employee inquiries and concerns
  • Support the annual open enrollment process
  • Assist with benefits projects and audits
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned 
Education and Experience:
  • 2-4 years’ experience in an employee benefit related role.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree in office administration, business or human resources field preferred.
  • Experience with Paycor, Paycor Benefits Advisor or similar HRIS required.
  • Outstanding customer service skills – servant leadership skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to organize time and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • The employee must be able to lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.
