Job Summary:
Seeking a full-time person with a dynamic personality for the medical front office. This includes answering phones, check-in and out as well as financial counseling. We are a great company looking for people who want to be a part of a team long-term.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients
- Check in - Check out
- Schedule Appointments
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Patient Financial Counseling
- Work collaboratively with physicians to implement appropriate healthcare programs
- Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety
- Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures
- This position may be required to travel to other clinics for staffing needs
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience in healthcare or medical fields
- Experience in a medical customer service
- Microsoft Office proficiency
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
