Job Description

The Design Specialist is responsible for developing graphic designs, imagery, and websites to meet the needs of clinical trial clients. The role will focus primarily on website design, with an emphasis on utilizing the Divi platform. The Design Specialist will collaborate with the Elligo Marketing and Recruitment Team to create engaging content and ensure design consistency across digital and print materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Website Design:

• Design study-specific websites utilizing the Divi platform. 
• Design responsive websites with focus on functionality and user experience 

Creative Development:

• Conceptualization, development and execution of creative, branded marketing collateral for Elligo marketing and recruitment projects and various clients of Elligo Health Research.

Content Support:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and edit engaging content and ensure visual consistency across marketing projects.

Timeline Management:

• Managing multiple projects at once while maintaining communication with the team and/or clients.

Other duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent design skills with the ability to understand and effectively work with a marketing team.
• Proven experience in website design, with a strong proficiency in Divi or a similar platform
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of design principles, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) best practices
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• Ability to manage several design and website projects simultaneously 
• Good understanding of current marketing trends
• Strong attention to detail 
• Clear and concise written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed-upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to complete tasks, respond to department requests, and collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, web design, or marketing related fields equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Three (3) years or more of related job experience
• Figma experience preferred
• Experience in ADA-compliant website design preferred
• Video editing and development experience preferred

ENVIRONMENT:

This is remote position based on the location of the incumbent’s home. The role will be operating in a home-office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and phones.

• Occasionally move safely over uneven surfaces.

• Occasionally reach/work above shoulders, twist/bend/stoop/squat, grasp forcefully, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.
