Job Summary:
The RCM Team Lead will be responsible for handling multiple aspects of the revenue cycle process. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet established program deadlines on schedule.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Works directly with the vendor and practice managers to identify root causes and resolve patient complaints.
  • Identifies areas of opportunity for improvement of front-end and back-end processes.
  • Assists in planning and developing standard operating procedures for assigned projects.
  • Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Communicates effectively with individuals and groups at all organizational levels.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
 
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • In-depth knowledge of billing and revenue-cycle processing.
  • Basic knowledge of clinical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT codes.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Must be deadline and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
 
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2 years of RCM experience
  • 5 years of RCM experience as a substitute in lieu of education
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Normal office setting and work environment to include; prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching
