Ekos is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team! As a member of the Finance team, you’ll report to the CFO and be the leader of the Accounting team, responsible for all accounting functions. This includes but is not limited to, ensuring financial statements are in accordance with GAAP, owning the payroll process, management of the annual audit and annual tax filings, and cash forecasting. A strong focus on the automation of business processes and workflows is required in this position to enable the Ekos Accounting team to scale efficiently and effectively as the business continues its’ high growth trajectory.

What you’ll do

Lead and manage the monthly close process, including the implementation of best practices to ensure a quick and efficient close.
Ensure proper application of GAAP, including ASC 606 and other related guidance.
Manage the annual audit with a focus on proactively resolving potential issues.
Own the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls.
Prepare and distribute monthly comparisons of budget to actual and forecast to actual results, including variance explanations, for the P&L and Balance Sheet.
Oversee invoicing and cash collections with a focus on minimizing aged A/R balances and lowering DSO. Own the short-term and long-term cash forecast to ensure visibility into the company’s cash burn.
Own the successful management of NetSuite with focus on efficient reporting, automations and records management to allow for efficient scaling as the company grows.
Own the evaluation and implementation of any additional accounting/financial systems that will augment current business processes and drive efficiency.
Effectively interact and partner with Department leaders and the Leadership Team to provide analysis and timely reporting as well as drive process improvement and enhanced communication.
Oversee special projects which may arise.
Other duties as may be assigned.

You should have

3-5 years accounting experience, preferably at a growing SAAS company.
Bachelors in accounting and CPA preferred.
