Highly competitive compensation based on experience.  This position is remote or hybrid with Atlanta area preference.  Occasional travel for customer and company events may be required (up to 10%).

MacStadium is looking for a talented product leader to help guide direction, definition, and delivery of our Apple focused infrastructure solutions.  You will be responsible for the product suite that forms the key building blocks of all MacStadium solutions.  You enjoy working closely with customers to identify the challenges they face.  You excel at collaborating with diverse teams to uncover innovative ways to make our customers successful.  You are meticulous in translating ambiguous requirements into compelling features.  And you’re driven by delighting customers with exceptional products.  Come join us in creating the next generation of MacStadium, the cloud for Mac.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Work closely with the rest of the product team, software development, customers, and key partners to define, prioritize, and deliver MacStadium infrastructure offerings. 
  • Collect and interpret market data, customer feedback and other key metrics to develop insights to help drive decisions on our infrastructure portfolio.
  • Manage the product catalog, pricing, and positioning for our infrastructure offerings including Apple Mac devices, non-mac hardware and virtual machines, firewalls, networking, and storage. 
  • Participate in business and roadmap reviews with key partners and vendors to stay informed on upcoming capabilities and potential offerings.
  • Document use cases, communicate product strategy, write product requirements, and maintain and articulate product roadmaps for our infrastructure portfolio.
  • Keep up with market trends: identify and present opportunities for new MacStadium capabilities and assist in business case development for proposed initiatives.
  • Work closely with product marketing to create compelling product positioning, messaging, and collateral to educate internal and external audiences. 
  • Work with finance and sales to develop and maintain product pricing strategies. 
  • Support sales with select engagements by explaining and demonstrating how product capabilities address specific needs to established and prospective customers.

 

What skills and experience you need to have:

  • 3+ years Product Owner/Management experience or 5+ years industry experience
  • Experience with IaaS, managed hosting, and/or B2B SaaS offerings including familiarity with internal architecture, delivery workflows, and sales motions. 
  • Strong working knowledge of core data center components including compute hardware, storage, networking technologies and workflow automation.
  • Deep empathy for customer objectives and challenges, with the ability to translate these into product opportunities.
  • Practiced at de-risking and making impactful decisions while working with ambiguous information.
  • Experience breaking complex challenges into manageable components that may be iteratively addressed.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to drive collaboration and alignment with widely diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.

Bonus points for one or more of the following:

  • Experience working for IaaS or Managed Hosting Provider.
  • Experience working as a network or systems administrator.
  • Experience managing macOS for enterprise customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing product strategy and launch of a new B2B offerings.

Our current U.S. office locations are in Atlanta, GA, Las Vegas, NV, and Sunnyvale, CA. While it would be ideal to have someone close in proximity to one of our offices for this role, we are also considering candidates that would be fully remote.

For California and Colorado applicants, the compensation range is $110,000 to $140,000.
