Highly competitive compensation based on experience. This position is remote or hybrid with Atlanta area preference. Occasional travel for customer and company events may be required (up to 10%).

MacStadium is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our product team. This high-profile role will ensure visibility and success of multiple strategic MacStadium initiatives. You will work alongside senior and executive team members to plan and execute product initiatives including software launches, customer proof-of-concepts and service migrations.

What you will be doing:
- Planning and execution of multiple concurrent projects including both internal product initiatives as well as customer facing proof-of-concept (POC) and platform migration engagements for MacStadium service offerings.
- Work closely with Product, Development, Operations, and Sales teams as well as directly with customers to define, track and deliver projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Develop project dashboards and key metrics tracking.
- Status reporting and risk identification/management to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, document, and communicate business processes.
- Identify and implement solutions to gain internal efficiencies and increase customer value.
- Key influencer in defining and evolving strategic MacStadium programs.
What knowledge and skills you need to have:
Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of coordinating and managing technical projects from initiation through delivery.
- Working understanding of the SaaS software development processes and agile development
- Excellent time management, communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
- Trained in project management techniques or comparable industry experience.
- Experienced in development of project planning elements including scheduling, resourcing, communication, and implementation of plans.
- Able to work independently and make informed decisions with missing or ambiguous information.
- Ability to comprehend and successfully communicate detailed technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to apply varying leadership skills to create positive results in unexpected situations.
- Demonstratable experience with software delivery or facilitating software migrations.
- Experience with, or strong interest in learning, cloud infrastructure solutions including virtualization, orchestration, and remote desktop technologies (eg. AWS, GCP, Azure, VMware).
- Familiarity with professional software development methodologies including CI/CD workflows and toolsets a plus.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years project/program management experience in technology required.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with industry-recognized project management techniques and tools.
- Demonstratable risk analysis, project reporting and tracking.
- Managing and motivating matrixed teams without direct authority in diverse environments.
- Project certification preferred (PMP, Six Sigma, etc).

Our current U.S. office locations are in Atlanta, GA, Las Vegas, NV, and Sunnyvale, CA. While it would be ideal to have someone close in proximity to one of our offices for this role, we are also considering candidates that would be fully remote.
For California and Colorado applicants, the compensation range is $115,000 to $145,000.
