What we need:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will play a significant role in MacStadium’s FP&A team by providing financial reporting and insight, as well as accurate and reliable data that will be used in decision making and planning.  The right person for this role will be an organized, detail oriented, self-starter with the ability to collaborate with multiple cross functional departments and teams. This hybrid in-office/remote role is located in Piedmont Center in Buckhead and reports to the Finance Director.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Manage and maintain the budgeting, forecasting, and overall FP&A of MacStadium, while continuously improving on reporting and analysis
  • Create presentations for varying levels of management and ownership that provide insightful analysis, and effectively frame decisions to be made
  • Identify and research variances to budget and forecast, proactively identifying opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Provide analysis of trends and performance
  • Complete market research and comparable company analysis
  • Implementation of FP&A software
  • Ad Hoc analysis

 

​What skills and experience you need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA a plus
  • 7-10 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • General knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational principles; GAAP knowledge
  • Understanding of financial statements, and experience developing financial reports, metrics, and key performance indicators
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience creating charts, tables, and graphs that present data in a meaningful way
  • Superior attention to detail, and the ability to learn new tasks and solve problems with limited guidance or instruction
  • Effective communicator, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent team player
  • Proven ability to meet day-to-day deadlines while concurrently working on multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Self-motivated, driven, and strong problem-solving skills
