Job Description

*Note this is a rolling application pool for anticipated future openings. Applications are not monitored on a daily basis, so response times will greatly vary.*

The Account Executive (AE) role is an integral part of SupplyPike because you are directly responsible for growing the business and driving top-line revenue.

The AE takes charge of qualified leads delivered to you from inbound and outbound channels, guiding prospective clients along the buyer’s journey to a successful closed sale. 

AEs will be responsible for managing numerous prospects in various stages of the sales cycle at any given time, always driving towards the next step and outlining a clear path to a done deal. AEs must ensure a smooth hand-off to the Customer Success team so that the buyer experience is seamless.

Key Responsibilities

  • North Star Metric will be to generate top-line revenue by acquiring new customers
  • Close deals with qualified leads delivered from inbound and outbound channels
  • Ensure seamless transition of new clients to Customer Success team
  • Maximize opportunities to grow SupplyPike by identifying real problems for CPGs that our company solves and using data to demonstrate the impact a partnership will create
  • Own monthly sales targets and relevant sales process metrics
  • Be at the ready to respond to new, qualified leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Lead initial demos of SupplyPike products and guide prospects through a trial period of the platform to determine fit
  • Develop a deep understanding of “a day in the life” of a CPG supplier to empathize with prospective customers, and use data to derive insights that create value for the buyer
  • Collaborate with and encourage fellow AEs to win so that the whole company succeeds

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a enterprise B2B SaaS sales role
  • CPG industry experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
  • Able to build deep relationships with new people on a regular basis and understand their business challenges
  • Analytical background and love for using data to drive decisions
  • Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software, such as Salesforce and HubSpot
