We are currently seeking a Software Architect who will be responsible for recommendation adjustments in resolving software issues, provide guidance and oversight of the overall architecture of the product while ensuring that the design, application, and maintenance of software meets the quality standards of the company. In this role you will be expected to mentor, guide and train other engineers providing adequate, positive feedback that inspires the team as a whole. To be successful in this role you must be able to identify architectural changes required for either improving existing features, or developing new ones working with project teams, SRE/DevOps teams and product leadership to design and implement new architecture. Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop, design, review and test architectural changes for the product.
  • Improve performance of existing software.
  • Mentor and train team of engineers.
  • Recommend new technologies that increase productivity.
  • Supervise and oversee technical aspects of projects assigned.
  • Investigate software-related complaints and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience in software development methodologies, high level programming languages (such as Java), and building complex web systems.
