Data Strategy Analyst – Healthcare Analytics

About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Strategy Analyst to join our Strategic Resource Group and help turn complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights. In this role, you’ll work with large-scale claims, provider, and pricing datasets to answer critical business and market questions.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in SQL and analytics who wants to grow into a more strategic, high-impact role at the intersection of data, healthcare, and business decision-making.

What You’ll Do

• Write and optimize SQL queries to analyze large healthcare datasets
• Translate business questions into structured data analyses and outputs
• Build and maintain reusable datasets, templates, and analytical frameworks
• Validate data quality and identify gaps, inconsistencies, or edge cases
• Support research and pre-sales efforts by accessing data feasibility
• Document methodologies and approaches to ensure consistency and scalability
• Partner with cross-functional teams across Sales, Research, Product, and Data Engineering
• Contribute to improving how we answer recurring strategic questions using data

What You Bring

• 3–4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
• Experience with healthcare claims data (or similar complex datasets)
• Familiarity with tools like Databricks, Tableau (or similar BI tools), Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured approaches
• Clear communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting client-facing or pre-sales analytics work
• Exposure to data modeling or analytics engineering concepts
• Interest in healthcare strategy, market intelligence, or research
