Career Opportunity
As a Product Designer, you will design intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that support caregivers and families through critical moments. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and other partners to translate requirements and insights into clear, usable, and high-quality solutions.
This role is ideal for a designer who has strong fundamentals and is ready to deepen their product thinking, execution skills, and cross-functional collaboration. If you enjoy solving complex problems, iterating based on feedback, and growing your craft within a supportive product organization, we encourage you to apply.
Your Role
You will contribute to the design of features and workflows within our products, working closely with Product and Engineering partners to deliver thoughtful solutions while continuing to build confidence, ownership, and design judgment.
Strategy
Develop an understanding of Cariloop’s products, users, and business context to inform design decisions.
Use research findings, data, and feedback to inform and iterate on designs.
Participate in discovery activities and planning conversations to help shape problem definitions.
Support the definition of success criteria and learn how design outcomes connect to business goals.
Execution
Design end-to-end user flows for features and experiences using established patterns and the design system.
Explore multiple solution options and iterate based on feedback from partners and users.
Clearly document and communicate design rationale, decisions, and open questions.
Collaborate closely with Engineering during implementation to ensure designs are feasible and well executed.
Apply design standards consistently to ensure quality, accessibility, usability, and coherence across experiences.
Contribute to improving workflows, templates, and components that support efficient design execution.
Balance independent execution with regular collaboration and alignment.
Collaboration and Team Culture
Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Research, and other partners on shared goals.
Communicate openly and constructively, asking questions and seeking clarity when needed.

Qualifications
4–6 years of professional experience in product design, UX design, or a related design role.
Portfolio demonstrating experience designing digital products or features end to end.
Experience applying user research and data to inform design decisions.
Familiarity working with Product Managers and Engineers in a cross-functional environment.
Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
Experience using and contributing to design systems.
Ability to explain design decisions clearly and incorporate feedback effectively.
Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to collaborating with Engineering through build and release cycles.

This position is performed primarily on a remote basis; however, the employee may be required to travel occasionally to fulfill business needs. Such travel may include, but is not limited to, on-site meetings, company retreats, training sessions, or other business-related events. The frequency and duration of travel will vary based on operational needs, and the employee will be provided reasonable notice whenever possible.
The ability to travel as needed is a condition of employment, and all travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the company’s travel and expense policy.
