LPN or MA • Full-Time • Homewood or Hoover, AL clinic
Join our allergy & immunology clinic as the dedicated nurse running our shot room — giving injections, supporting immunotherapy, and keeping patients safe and cared for.

What You'll Do

  • Run the shot room: administer allergy injections, immunotherapy, and biologic medications under provider supervision
  • Take vitals and assist with allergy testing (skin testing, spirometry, Niox)
  • Monitor patients for reactions post-injection and provide follow-up care
  • Document accurately in the EMR
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and safety
  • Keep the shot room stocked, clean, and compliant (including cold chain management)

What You Bring

  • Active LPN license or MA certification in Alabama
  • Current BLS certification
  • 1–2 years of clinical experience (outpatient/specialty preferred)
  • Injection/immunotherapy/biologics experience a plus
  • Comfortable with EMR documentation
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
